Terms
Terms of Service
These Terms govern the relationship between the Company and users of its financial and legal information discovery, research-assistance, multilingual interface, and AI-powered features.
The Service may be made available in Korean and English. The English version is provided for convenience only, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Korean version prevails in the event of any conflict.
Effective date: 2026-06-01
1. Definitions
- 'Service' means all features provided through the website and related APIs, including market data, company information, filings, earnings, holdings, analyst actions, legal search, multilingual UI, onboarding, alert settings, AI briefs, AI agent responses, and email digests.
- 'User' means any member or non-member using the Service under these Terms.
- 'Member' means a person who creates an account or signs in through social login or email authentication.
- 'Paid Service' means a paid subscription plan and related premium features.
- 'Content' means all data, text, charts, translations, AI-generated outputs, editorials, and other information made available through the Service.
2. Effectiveness and Changes
These Terms become effective when posted in the Service or otherwise communicated by a reasonable method.
The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If amended, the Company will provide advance notice of the effective date, reasons for the change, and material details through the Service, email, or another reasonable channel.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms may be treated as acceptance, except where separate consent is required by law.
3. Accounts, Authentication, and Language Settings
Members must provide accurate and up-to-date information and are responsible for safeguarding their access credentials. The Company may request verification or limit access where account misuse, unauthorized use, or abnormal access is suspected.
The Service may support email magic-link sign-in and third-party OAuth sign-in through providers such as Google, Kakao, and X. Users must also comply with the terms and policies of those authentication providers.
The Service may suggest a default language based on country, browser language, user settings, or cookies. Users may change the interface language at any time within the set of supported languages.
4. Scope of Service and Changes
The Company may provide company information, filings, financials, earnings, institutional holdings, analyst actions, market data, legal search, AI analysis, portfolio-assistance tools, personal settings, onboarding, and email digests using public or lawfully available data sources and external infrastructure.
Specific features, UI, supported languages, data coverage, third-party integrations, and plan-level entitlements may be added, changed, suspended, or removed for operational, technical, legal, or business reasons.
Beta, experimental, or free features may not come with guarantees of continuity, stability, or identical functionality.
5. Paid Plans, Auto-Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds
Paid plans may be offered on a monthly subscription basis, and payment registration and processing may be handled through a payment processor selected by the Company.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically on each billing date unless cancelled.
- If cancelled, billing stops from the next billing cycle, and access generally remains active through the already-paid period unless otherwise stated.
- Trials, promotions, and discounts may be offered under Company policy and may convert to standard pricing when they end.
- Refunds and withdrawal rights are handled in light of applicable e-commerce law, processor policy, whether use has begun, and the nature of digital content.
Because the Service is digital in nature, withdrawal or refund rights may be limited once access has started or usable rights have been granted, except where required by applicable law.
6. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct
Users must comply with applicable law, these Terms, posted notices, and operational policies.
- Using another person’s account, payment method, or personal information without authorization
- Circumventing security controls or causing excessive system load
- Using crawlers, scrapers, bots, or other automation to mass-access, copy, collect, resell, or dataset the Service without permission
- Misusing AI features for unlawful prompts, prompt injection, rights infringement, or misleading output generation or distribution
- Using the Service for unlawful conduct, market manipulation, misinformation, or unauthorized redistribution
Where violations are identified, the Company may suspend or terminate access without prior notice to the extent permitted by law.
7. Data Sources, AI, Translation, and External Information
The Service relies on external sources such as SEC EDGAR, OpenDART, KRX, KOFIA, Yahoo Finance, FRED, public research metadata, and legal information sources. Timing gaps, omissions, classification errors, and source-policy changes may occur.
AI briefs, AI agent outputs, translations, digests, comparisons, and question-answering features are probabilistic and may contain factual mistakes, interpretive errors, incomplete responses, or inaccurate citations.
Localized wording and translated content are provided for convenience and may differ from source materials or Korean-language versions. The Company does not guarantee perfect equivalence across languages.
The Service is not investment advice, discretionary investment management, legal advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Users remain solely responsible for their own decisions.
8. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
Rights in the Service and its software, editorial structure, database structure, briefs, translations, designs, trademarks, logos, and proprietary content belong to the Company or the relevant rights holders.
Users may use the Service only for lawful personal purposes and may not reproduce, transmit, distribute, sell, sublicense, dataset, or create derivative works from the Service or its Content without prior permission.
9. Restrictions, Suspension, and Termination
The Company may limit, suspend, or terminate access where a user violates these Terms or applicable law, interferes with the Service, or infringes the rights of the Company or a third party.
If a member closes an account, the Company handles retention or deletion in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy. The retention scope after cancellation of paid services may vary depending on legal retention obligations and dispute-resolution needs.
10. Privacy
The Company handles personal information in accordance with applicable law and its Privacy Policy. Please review that policy for details.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Company may limit liability for interruptions or failures caused by force majeure, acts of third-party data providers or carriers, or causes attributable to users.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company may limit liability relating to free or experimental features, external links, external data, translations, and AI-generated outputs. Unless caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for indirect, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
12. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any dispute arising from use of the Service is subject to the court of competent jurisdiction under applicable Korean law, including the Civil Procedure Act.
